Teufelsfelstreffen
June 25-27, 2004
Bruschied, Germany
A Left Lane and Abteilung Deutschland/Schweiz event
This
year we had a lot of French Members, a couple of Belgians, a lot of locals and
the "regulars" attend the rally. That made for another
"International Flair" rally. The weather was cool but mostly
dry. The big boys went out for a tour while Bill and I went to Wal-Mart
with the kids.
The
French also managed to find Wal-Mart and had a blast buying lots of the American
products on sale there. We went on into Rüdersheim with the ferry and
took the gondolas up to the Kaiser Wilhelm Memorial. We then visited an
Aviary with 50 or so really large birds.
The
view of the Rhein was fantastic on such a clear blue skied day. Saturday
evening we all ate too much of Hannes' Jaegerpfanne and didn't manage to do too
much damage to the grilled steaks. The French tried corn on the cob for
the first time and really loved it. Manfred's son-in-law showed up on a 4
wheeler that we all had to ooh and ahh at and there was the usual lies about our
own bikes. Another great rally at a great location. See you there
next year???
